Bullish On-Chain Signals Meet Unrealized Losses in Bitcoin Market
Bitcoin's on-chain metrics have shifted to bullish territory, but this optimism is tempered by the significant unrealized losses among holders.
The market appears to be at a crossroads, with positive signals from indicators such as the MVRV ratio and exchange netflow being countered by lingering supply pressure. These metrics often precede price recoveries, suggesting that long-term holders are accumulating and selling pressure is easing.
However, a large portion of the short-term holder supply remains in an unrealized loss position, which could limit any potential price gains. If Bitcoin's price rises toward the average acquisition cost of these holders, many may choose to exit, capping the upside.
