Bullish Puts $100M Behind AI Infrastructure Loans with GPU Collateral
Bullish, an NYSE-listed institutional crypto platform and parent of Coindesk, has lent $100 million to USD.AI for AI infrastructure loans. The firm will leverage computer chips (GPUs) as collateral for these loans.
According to Bullish, the money involved in this new type of lending is huge, with a scale that eclipses legacy debt markets such as auto loans and home equity lines of credit.
Bullish CEO Brendan Blumer established the company in Hong Kong in 2020. Thomas Cowan, Head of Tokenization at Bullish, stated that his company believes real-world assets should be connected to digital money systems.
