Bullish's CEO Tom Farley sees tokenized stocks as a 'giant growth opportunity' that could rival traditional cryptocurrency assets.

During its second-quarter earnings call, Bullish announced that market participants had executed trades of its tokenized BLSH stock on the Bullish exchange, settled against a dollar-pegged stablecoin.

The tokens are sponsored by the issuer and recorded at the registry level, giving holders direct ownership of shares with the same legal status as conventional shareholders.

Farley commended the SEC's approach to providing clarity in this emerging market through its 'innovation exemption' framework.
