Bullish Sentiment Takes Hold in Bitcoin Perpetual Futures Markets
The Bitcoin perpetual futures market has shown a modestly bullish tilt in its latest 24-hour trading window, according to data from three major crypto derivatives exchanges.
The overall long/short ratio across Binance, OKX, and Bybit stands at 53.65% long versus 46.35% short, indicating that traders are slightly more positioned for price increases than declines.
On a breakdown basis, Binance shows a 51.65% long to 48.35% short ratio, while OKX is nearly balanced with 50.32% long and 49.68% short positions.
Bybit leads the bullish sentiment at 51.82% long and 48.18% short. Perpetual futures differ from traditional futures in that they have no expiration date, making them a popular tool for both hedging and speculative trading.
The slight bullish tilt comes amid a period of relative stability for Bitcoin, which has been trading within a defined range over the past several weeks.
