Buterin Aims to Slash Private Transaction Costs with EIP-8288 Update
Vitalik Buterin has proposed an update to Ethereum's protocol, which could significantly reduce costs for private transactions.
The proposal includes EIP-8288, a mechanism that aggregates cryptographic proofs before transactions are added to a block.
This change is expected to lower gas costs for private operations with quantum attack protection from around 10 million units to tens of thousands of units.
