Bybit Accepts Six Tokenized Equities as Collateral for Margin and Loans
Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has expanded its collateral eligibility to include six tokenized US equities.
The xStock tokens, which are fully collateralized and backed 1:1 by underlying securities held through regulated partners, can now be used for margin trading, crypto loans, and institutional loans across Bybit's Unified Trading Account (UTA) Loans, Crypto Loans, and Institutional Loans products.
The six tickers - NVDAX, HOODX, CRCLX, TSLAX, GOOGLX, and AAPL - correspond to Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Google, Robinhood, and Circle, respectively. Bybit described the change as a step to 'bridge the traditional financial asset class with crypto-native infrastructure.'
The update allows eligible holders to pledge those tokens for margin trading, borrow against them through Crypto Loans, and use them to reach Institutional Loans.
