Bybit EU Aids MEXC User Transition Amid Dutch Market Regulatory Shift
The Austrian-based Bybit EU has partnered with MEXC to support a seamless user transition in the Dutch market. MEXC, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, had announced that it would cease operations in the Netherlands due to European regulatory requirements.
Nazar Tymoshchuk, Regional Country Manager at Bybit EU, stated, 'We're pleased to welcome Dutch users who are looking for a regulated, compliant platform to continue their crypto journey.' He emphasized that the MiCAR framework exists to protect European users and that Bybit EU is committed to providing a secure, seamless experience for all transitioning users.
The partnership aims to support MEXC users in the Netherlands through the transition process. Users will receive direct communication from MEXC with guidance on next steps and timelines. Those who choose to move to Bybit EU will need to create and verify a new account independently, without automatic migration of accounts or assets.
To facilitate the transition, Bybit EU is offering a welcome package for eligible new registrants, including bonus rewards, preferential trading fees, and cashback on the Bybit Card. A dedicated landing page is available for Dutch users with step-by-step guidance, FAQs, and links to customer support.
