Bybit Expands RWA Earn Platform with Tokenized Brazilian Credit Strategy
Bybit has expanded its RWA Earn platform by adding nOPAL, a tokenized Brazilian credit strategy. The product is managed by BlackOpal Finance through the Plume network and offers users access to receivables-backed investments in USDC.
nOPAL generates returns based on the difference between the purchase price of future credit card receivables from merchants and their settlement value through payment networks like Visa and Mastercard. As of August 2026, the product had a 30-day rolling yield of about 12% and more than $70 million in TVL.
The underlying receivables are denominated in Brazilian reais, so nOPAL uses non-deliverable forwards to manage BRL/USD exposure. Bybit states that redemptions are accepted daily and generally settle within one to five business days.
The minimum investment is 500 USDC, and the exchange notes that RWA Earn products are not principal-protected. Historical APR figures are also not guaranteed.
