Bybit Traders Combine Crypto with Real-World Assets for Diversified Exposure
Crypto portfolios often rely on cryptocurrency assets that share high internal correlation during drawdowns. When Bitcoin (BTC) experiences a sharp decline, other altcoins like Ether (ETH), Solana (SOL), and most others follow suit due to shared liquidity pools, retail sentiment cycles, and macro triggers.
Introducing real-world asset (RWA) exposure can bring different return drivers through assets linked to equities, commodities, indices, forex, and gold. Bybit traders can access this exposure via tokenized assets like xStocks and Tether Gold (XAUT), as well as derivatives such as TradFi Perpetuals and CFDs that track traditional market prices without providing ownership of the underlying asset.
Crypto assets exhibit strong internal correlation, limiting diversification benefits when holding multiple cryptocurrencies. Bybit provides various ways to access RWA-linked markets alongside crypto, including xStocks, XAUT, TradFi Perpetuals, and CFD. Combining crypto and RWA exposure introduces different return drivers and market cycles but does not eliminate risk or guarantee more stable performance.
