Bybit Unveils 24/7 US Equity Access with Perpetual Options Launch
Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, is set to launch Perp Options on September 17, 2026. This new product will give traders 24/7 access to US equity markets through Bybit's perpetual options contracts.
The integration of Bybit Perp Options with the Unified Trading Account (UTA) enables users to hold perpetuals, options, and spot positions within a single account and settle in USDT. Traders will enjoy a range of strategies at launch, including buying/selling naked options, spreads, straddles, and combination trades.
Bybit Perp Options contracts will be European-style and cash-settled, reducing early assignment risk. Portfolio Margin aid will permit positions to be cross-offset against related perpetual and spot holdings, minimizing collective margin requirements while traders manage risk across asset classes.
