Cabot Unveils Nova Scotia Golf Resort with Riverfront Course
The Cabot brand is expanding its golf footprint once again with the announcement of Cabot Wilds, a new destination in Nova Scotia. Located on a 2,500-acre property in Cumberland County, the resort will feature an 18-hole riverfront golf course designed by Jeff Mingay. The land, owned by the founders of Oxford Frozen Foods, is nestled in the rolling hills and blueberry fields of rural Canada.
Like Cabot's other properties, Cabot Wilds will focus on experiences beyond golf, with plans for a clubhouse, dining offerings, a recreation pavilion, racquet sports facilities, and residential real estate. The resort will also feature a curated collection of outdoor pursuits in the surrounding maple forests, wild blueberry fields, and salmon-rich River Phillip.
Cabot's CEO and co-founder Ben Cowan-Dewar described the project as 'super near and dear' to Canadian businessman John Bragg's heart. Bragg, who was an initial investor in Cabot Cape Breton, has expanded his ownership stake in the property and is now a valued business partner for years.
