Calacanis Advises Selling Half Bitcoin to Fund Solana and Bittensor

Angel investor Jason Calacanis has advised investors to sell half of their Bitcoin and invest in Solana and Bittensor. He made this suggestion while discussing his investment strategy, which focuses on networks that deliver new products rather than just promising them.

Calacanis' comments are a shift from his previous stance, as he had previously kept distance from Solana and argued that no one had explained meaningful use cases for the network beyond speculation. However, in recent interviews and posts, he has mentioned that entrepreneurs are expanding their businesses based on TAO, SOL, and other similar networks.

Calacanis has also criticized the Strategy company, led by Michael Saylor, which he believes has gained overly large influence and distorts market narratives. He has urged investors to buy Bitcoin directly rather than Strategy shares, citing the funding structure of Strategy as a source of unnecessary risk.
