Calacanis Calls for Rotation from Bitcoin into Bittensor's TAO
Jason Calacanis, a well-known angel investor who backed Uber and Robinhood, advised investors to sell half their Bitcoin holdings and rotate into productive projects such as Bittensor's TAO and Solana.
According to Calacanis, capital should flow to networks that deliver new products, not just static stores of value. He specifically mentioned Bittensor's decentralized AI infrastructure and Solana over Bitcoin's store-of-value role.
However, it is worth noting that Calacanis has a vested interest in this recommendation, as he runs a Bittensor-focused fund and holds a large personal TAO position.
In contrast to Bittensor, AlphaPepe claims to be an earlier version of the products-over-promises thesis. However, it is less delivered than Bittensor, offering more room but also less proof.
