Canada's National Bank Reveals $111K Crypto Holdings
National Bank of Canada has disclosed that it holds a small position in an XRP ETF and four Bitcoin funds, totaling about $111,240 at June 30.
The SEC filing shows that the bank holds 330 shares of the Bitwise XRP ETF worth $3,848, as well as 5,310 shares of the ProShares Bitcoin ETF worth $42,321.
The bank's largest position is in the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund, with 1,090 shares valued at $55,644.
In related news, Grayscale's XRP Trust reported heavy redemption activity during the first half of 2026, selling 103.41 million XRP worth $180.78 million to meet share redemptions and recording a $34.16 million realized loss on those sales.
