Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre Warns of Cryptocurrency Wallet Scams

Share

The Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre has issued a warning about fraudsters targeting cryptocurrency wallets in Canada.

Fraudsters may try to gain access to a cryptocurrency wallet, steal cryptocurrency or trick victims into sharing private information, according to the centre.

This is not a new threat; the centre says it's an ongoing issue that requires constant vigilance from users of digital currency.
