Canary Capital's Staked TRX ETF Takes Flight on Cboe Exchange
Canary Capital launched its first staked TRX ETF in the US on September 9, trading under the ticker TRXS on Cboe. The fund stakes substantially all of its TRX holdings, with 80% of staking rewards added to the fund's net asset value. This makes it easier for investors to access TRX without directly holding or staking the token.
The Canary Staked TRX ETF offers a new way for investors to engage with the TRON network, which has seen significant growth in recent months. In Q2 2026, TRON processed $2.1 trillion in USDT transfers and reached a stablecoin market cap of $89.2 billion.
TRXS joins Canary Capital's growing lineup of crypto ETFs, including products tied to XRP, Litecoin, and HBAR. The fund's staking structure is unique compared to other altcoin ETFs, with staking fees capped at 20% of rewards generated.
