Cango Inc. Regains Compliant Status with NYSE
Cango Inc., a Bitcoin mining company, has regained compliance with the New York Stock Exchange's minimum share price requirement. This comes after the company received a notification letter from the NYSE on March 10, 2026, indicating that its average closing price had fallen below $1.00 over a consecutive 30-trading-day period.
In response to this notice, Cango effected a 10-for-1 share consolidation of its Class A ordinary shares and Class B ordinary shares, which became effective on July 20, 2026. This move helped the company's average stock price for the 30 trading days ended August 31, 2026 exceed the NYSE's minimum requirement.
The NYSE confirmed this in a letter dated September 1, 2026, stating that Cango is no longer considered below the minimum share price requirement under Section 802.01C of the NYSE Listed Company Manual. The matter has been closed, and the company can continue to operate without any further action.
