Canopy Aims to Simplify Blockchain Launches with Revolutionary Development Framework
Canopy is an innovative blockchain platform that aims to simplify the process of launching a new blockchain infrastructure. According to its creators, launching a traditional blockchain can be a complex and time-consuming process, requiring significant effort and resources. In contrast, Canopy's development framework allows developers to create a working appchain with just 200 lines of code.
The platform has three main components: the Canopy Stack, which provides a development framework for building appchains; the Canopy Terminal, a web application that combines various tools for token launch, trading, and block exploration; and the Canopy Network, a restaking-based security system that allows validators to secure new appchains with existing staked tokens.
As of June 2026, Canopy's testnet had attracted approximately 329,000 registered users and 115,000 on-chain users, with 35.4 million cumulative transactions and 52.3 million CNPY in testnet fees collected. The platform's developer community includes over 15,000 GitHub-verified developers, and an average of 5,000 chains are launched daily on the testnet launchpad.
Canopy has received backing from several prominent investors, including Arrington Capital, HashKey Capital, and Fenbushi Capital.
