Canton Network Unveils Decentralized App Layer with Open-Source Framework
Canton Network's decentralized app layer has launched, backed by a $1 million+ foundation grant. The launch is led by BitSafe, which has released an open-source framework called Decentralization Manager.
This framework allows apps and institutions to build resilient products that distribute control across multiple independent operators. It provides pre-built frameworks for token issuance and custody and enables additional products such as decentralized exchanges (DEXs), lending, and structured products.
The launch is a significant milestone for Canton Network, which has become critical infrastructure for institutions bringing real capital and operations on-chain. Decentralization Manager makes it easier for teams to build decentralized financial applications without having to start from scratch.
