Capital B Acquires 4 More Bitcoins Worth €270,000
Capital B SA (ISIN: FR0014019Y19), a listed company on Euronext Growth Paris, has confirmed the acquisition of 4 BTC for €0.27 million as part of its Bitcoin Treasury Company strategy. The company's total holdings now stand at 3,525 BTC, with an acquisition value of €309.7 million based on an average price of €87,854 per bitcoin.
The acquisition was made through a capital increase under the 'ATM-type' program with TOBAM, which allowed the company to issue 44,227 new ordinary shares at an average rounded subscription price of €5.64 per share. The transaction does not require the preparation of a prospectus subject to approval by the AMF.
The company's Chief Executive Officer decided to carry out this capital increase as part of the 'ATM-type' program, making use of the delegation of authority granted to him by the Board of Directors. The CEO waived shareholders' preferential subscription rights in favor of the investors to whom the offer is addressed.
