Capital B Bolsters Bitcoin Holdings with 4 Additional BTC
Capital B has increased its strategic Bitcoin holdings by 4 additional BTC on September 14, bringing its total to 3,525 BTC. The purchase was made for €270,000, which means the company's total investment in BTC is now worth approximately €309.7 million at its aggregate cost basis.
This latest acquisition comes just a week after Capital B purchased 376 BTC for €25.3 million on September 7. This single transaction represented over a 10% increase in the firm's holdings at that time.
Since the beginning of this year, Capital B has spent an average of €87,854 per BTC. The company reports a year-to-date BTC Yield of 2.19%, which translates to a BTC Gain of 61.9 BTC and a BTC € Gain of €4.2 million so far this year.
Capital B's strategy involves funding its Bitcoin purchases primarily through equity issuances, rather than debt instruments. This approach means the company carries no debt obligation tied to its Bitcoin position, but also results in dilution for existing shareholders unless the value of their investment appreciates quickly enough to offset it.
