Capital B Boosts Bitcoin Treasury with €25.3 Million Acquisition
Capital B has acquired an additional 376 BTC for €25.3 million, increasing its treasury to 3,521 BTC worth approximately €309.4 million at an average acquisition cost of €87,878 per bitcoin.
The purchase was facilitated through Swissquote Bank Europe SA and will be held in custody using technology from Taurus, a Swiss firm. This move comes after the company rebranded in July 2025 to focus on its bitcoin treasury strategy.
Capital B funded the acquisition through an ATM increase of €1.44 million and a share placement subscribed in two tranches, including strategic investors Adam Back and TOBAM. The warrants attached to each share carry exercise prices rising from €0.75 to €1.27 and could raise a further €185.3 million if all are exercised.
Adam Back contributed €7.6 million ($8.8 million) as part of the round, lifting his ownership in Capital B to 17.64% on an ordinary basis. The company's stated holdings after the buy remain 3,521 BTC, with the sources tying the latest tranche to Capital B's capital raises and its ongoing plan to increase the bitcoin held per fully diluted share over time.
