Capital B Digs Deeper into Bitcoin, Snaps Up 376 Coins for €25.3 Million
European bitcoin treasury Capital B has made its biggest purchase of 2026 so far by snapping up 376 Bitcoins for €25.3 million ($29 million). This acquisition brings the company's total Bitcoin holdings to 3,521 coins, valued at over $277 million at current prices.
This move makes Capital B the 25th largest publicly traded Bitcoin treasury in the world, according to data from Bitcoin Treasuries. The company says it aims to hold 1% of Bitcoin's total supply by 2033, which would be approximately 210,000 Bitcoins.
Capital B has been actively building its Bitcoin position through fundraising rounds and private placements. In August, the company raised €21 million ($24 million) in a private placement backed by Blockstream boss Adam Back and asset manager TOBAM. Last week, Back invested €7.6 million ($8.8 million) in Capital B to help with its buys.
Capital B's stock was trading 2% lower on the day of the announcement, but the company remains focused on accumulating more Bitcoins as other treasuries look to raise funds and accelerate their buys.
