Capital B Expands Bitcoin Holdings with Latest Acquisition
French-listed firm Capital B has made another strategic move to expand its Bitcoin holdings. On September 14, it acquired an additional 4 BTC for €270,000, bringing its total balance sheet to 3,525 BTC worth €309.7 million at its aggregate cost basis.
The latest purchase comes on the heels of a significant acquisition just a week prior, where Capital B added 376 BTC for €25.3 million. This marks the company's largest single Bitcoin acquisition this year, representing over a 10% increase in its holdings at the time.
Capital B has been actively accumulating Bitcoin since late 2024 and has consistently published its cost basis and yield metrics with unusual transparency for a European small-cap. The company deliberately separates its operational holdings from its strategic treasury reserve, excluding those coins from yield calculations.
