Carbon Unleashes Institutional-Grade Trading Depth on Arbitrum
Carbon, an on-chain prime broker for global markets, has launched public trading on over 250 of its TradFi markets. This launch makes Carbon the largest TradFi-native on-chain derivatives venue with over 950 tradeable instruments in a single account.
The new market offerings include equities, indices, forex, and commodities from US, EU, and Asia markets. The markets are traded at institutional depth, with prices inherited directly from regulated brokers off-chain.
Carbon's unique architecture solves the 'cold-start problem' that has hindered real-world assets on-chain by connecting traders to deep liquidity through 1:1 hedging. This eliminates the need for per-market incentive programs and waiting periods for liquidity accumulation.
The launch also opens the Carbon Liquidity Provider (CLP) vault to public deposits, offering a delta-neutral yield product that funds hedges behind trader flow. The CLP has an illustrative APY ranging from 20.3% at launch utilization to 57.1% at maturity.
