Cardano ADA Futures Volume Surges 380%, Injective Becomes First Chain to Connect via Live IBC Rail
Cardano's ADA token has seen a surge in futures volume, increasing by 380% in just one week from $150 million to $650 million. This significant rise in trading activity is a strong indicator of growing interest and momentum among traders.
This development comes as Injective became the first blockchain to connect with Cardano through a live IBC testnet rail, enabling seamless movement between the two ecosystems. ADA's price has pulled back slightly, dipping 1.44% to $0.1882 on August 6, but remains above its 100-day EMA at $0.1964.
Analysts have pointed out that the current price structure is similar to the one seen in 2020-21, with a potential breakout target of over $1,300% from current levels, reaching as high as $2.90. However, this is not without risk, as heavy futures open interest amplifies the move lower if key news or events do not favor ADA.
