Cardano ADA Jumps Past $0.20: Can It Reach $1 by 2026?
The cryptocurrency market has seen a sudden revival, and Cardano (ADA) is among the beneficiaries. Its price jumped to $0.22 from its previous level, with a notable gain of 28% in the weekly scale.
Experts are now weighing in on whether this rally could extend further. Three AI-powered chatbots - ChatGPT, OpenAI's platform, and Perplexity - were asked for their opinions on the matter.
ChatGPT noted that ADA has previously reached a price of $1, so it's not entirely impossible to see it reach that milestone again before the end of 2026. However, the AI emphasized that this would require exceptional market-wide growth and an increase in Cardano's users, DeFi activity, and overall ecosystem development.
Perplexity shared a similar sentiment, stating that a rise to $1 is theoretically possible but dependent on 'an exceptional confluence of catalysts' and a strong altcoin/bull market. The AI also highlighted the importance of Bitcoin's strength in ADA's potential success.
In fact, Perplexity went as far as saying that if BTC pushed to new highs and liquidity rotated aggressively into large-cap alts, ADA could outperform. Additionally, the launch of a spot ADA ETF was mentioned as another major catalyst for the price increase.
