Cardano ADA Price Surges Past $0.23 Amid Ecosystem Growth

Cardano's ADA price has surged past $0.23 in recent weeks, driven by a combination of factors including Bitcoin's recovery and activity within its own ecosystem.

The coin's price has risen by nearly 30% over the past seven days, bringing it back into the top 15 by market capitalization according to CoinMarketCap.

Despite some profit-taking after the sharp climb, Cardano's trading volume has doubled to over $1.6 billion per day, suggesting ongoing interest in the asset.

The ADA price surge is not solely driven by Bitcoin's momentum, however, as on-chain transactions for Cardano have nearly doubled within 48 hours, with daily throughput reaching 32,000 transactions.

This growth is a result of various upgrades and developments within the ecosystem, including the Van Rossem hard fork, which activated in July 2026 and lowered smart contract execution costs, and the launch of Midnight's mainnet, a privacy-focused partner network.
