Cardano ADA Soars on Network Upgrades and Governance Progress
Cardano's ADA token has seen an 8% price increase over the past day, rising to around $0.20 as traders respond positively to a series of network upgrades.
The development team at Cardano has officially started working on the Dijkstra era, which is expected to bring significant improvements to the blockchain's performance and functionality.
The recent rally in ADA prices has been driven by multiple factors, including network upgrades, governance progress, cross-chain expansion, and improving market sentiment. The successful activation of the Van Rossem hard fork on July 18 marked the beginning of this uptrend.
Van Rossem upgraded the network to Version 11, introducing improvements to Plutus smart contract execution, ledger consistency, and node security. This upgrade addressed performance bottlenecks while laying the groundwork for the next development phase.
