Cardano Anchors Half a Million Supply Chain Records in Brazil
The Cardano Foundation and Brazilian technology company Blockforce have successfully implemented an enterprise supply chain platform that uses Cardano as its public verification layer.
With over 500,000 records already anchored, this system allows for independent verification of commercial data without exposing sensitive information. Confidential records remain restricted to approved parties, while corresponding cryptographic proofs are recorded on Cardano's public blockchain.
The partners achieved a significant reduction in public anchoring costs by batching certificates before anchoring them to Cardano, resulting in a 92% decrease. This hybrid design is intended to preserve confidential business data while utilizing a public blockchain as a shared verification layer.
