Cardano and Injective have successfully linked through the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol on testnet. This connection enables cross-chain transfers between the two ecosystems, allowing ADA and INJ tokens to be transferred without third-party bridges.
The integration addresses Cardano's interoperability limitations and could foster more complex cross-chain applications in the future.
This milestone follows two years of development and an internal audit, with plans to extend the functionality to mainnet and broader Cosmos ecosystem integration.
