Cardano Breaks Free Amid Weekend Market Freeze
Crypto markets have remained relatively stagnant over the weekend, with little to no major altcoin gains. Despite significant developments in the Middle East, including a claimed Hormuz Strait deal by Trump and Iran's refutation of the statement, Bitcoin (BTC) and most altcoins have stayed sluggish. This is not uncommon for Saturday-Sunday market freezes.
This phenomenon was particularly evident in the past 36-48 hours, where even geopolitical news had little impact on price movement. The market tends to freeze during weekends, with breakout attempts often being halted in their tracks.
An exception to this trend is Cardano (ADA), which has seen a 9% increase today. This comes at a time when the crypto market as a whole remains muted.
