Cardano Breaks Out of Rising Wedge Pattern, Sets Sights on $0.4002
Cardano (ADA) has broken out of its rising wedge pattern after months of building momentum. The breakout is significant, as it indicates a potential shift in the cryptocurrency's price trajectory.
The rising wedge pattern had been forming since June, and Cardano's price cleared this structure recently. The way it broke through is notable, with an aggressive move higher following a clean tap of support at the first retest.
The breakout above $0.2117 keeps the upside intact, opening the door toward $0.2749, then $0.3280, and potentially even $0.4002. On the other hand, if the price breaks and closes below $0.1709, it would invalidate the wedge breakout structure.
The proposed Peras upgrade is adding a fundamental tailwind to Cardano's technical setup. This upgrade aims to cut the wait for near-certainty settlement from hours down to about two minutes by introducing a rotating committee of block producers that certifies blocks at short intervals.
