The Cardano Constitutional Committee has been refreshed after its ratification on-chain. The 'Update Constitutional Committee 2026' governance action secured its two required thresholds with minimal room to spare, passing at 69.36% among Delegated Representatives and 51.18% among Stake Pool Operators.

This development is crucial for the Cardano network as it preserves the ability to make critical governance decisions during a period of significant upcoming upgrades. The Constitutional Committee reviews governance actions to ensure they align with the network's constitution before taking effect.

The four newly elected members, chosen through audited community elections, will serve terms extending to Epoch 799. They include representatives from several corners of the Cardano ecosystem, such as Marek Mahut and the Eastern Cardano Council, and Cardano Curia.
