Cardano's (ADA) staking rewards have gone live for epoch 647, which closed on August 7. This marks a significant milestone for ADA holders who participated in the staking process during this period.

The epoch reward cycle repeats every five days, with eligible delegators receiving their payouts accordingly. The process involves registering a stake key, issuing a delegation certificate to a chosen pool, and waiting through a 15-20 day delay before the new stake becomes active.

The ADA price has taken a slight hit, down 1.32% over the past 24 hours, trading at $0.1996. The market capitalization stands at $7.2 billion, with a 24-hour trading volume of $330.08 million.

The upcoming Ouroboros Leios upgrade aims to increase transaction throughput by up to 50 times compared to current levels. This scaling step is expected to be implemented within the next four months and will mark a significant improvement in Cardano's network capacity.
