The Cardano Foundation and Brazilian technology firm Blockforce have launched a supply chain verification system in Brazil, using Cardano as its public proof layer. This platform has already anchored cryptographic evidence for more than 500,000 commercial records.

The companies announced the deployment on Aug. 31, with major Brazilian fashion companies, including Azzas 2154, already utilizing it.

The system uses a double-ledger approach, where Blockforce tracks supply chain transactions in a private ledger and then converts them into cryptographic proofs anchored to Cardano's public blockchain.
