The Cardano Foundation is joining forces with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to launch the 2026 SDG Blockchain Accelerator. This five-month program aims to develop blockchain-based solutions for global challenges, focusing on areas like digital payments, identity management, and supply chain traceability.

Applications will open from July to September 2026, with a focus on connecting tech teams with UN development needs. The Cardano Foundation has been involved with the UNDP since its role in the Blockchain Advisory Group and through previous support for blockchain projects via Project Catalyst.
