Cardano Genesis Pre-Accelerator Program Boosts Ecosystem Growth
The Cardano ecosystem is witnessing significant growth with the launch of the Genesis Pre-Accelerator program, which aims to support early-stage builders in various sectors. The four-week residency brings together teams from six countries to work on projects related to enterprise infrastructure, payments, compliance, institutional DeFi, and AI applications.
The program, run by Draper University, Draper Dragon, and the Orion Fund initiative, offers up to $20,000 in investment for a 2% equity position. The participating teams will receive access to funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities with angel investors and early-stage venture firms.
Notably, Cardano's on-chain activity has seen a brief spike alongside the ADA price rally in August. However, the DEX volume surge was largely tied to speculative activity rather than lasting ecosystem growth. The project's TVL remained low at $58.6 million, and active addresses retreated to pre-market levels.
Despite the profit-taking that pushed the ADA price down by 21%, whale orderbooks still demonstrated renewed interest in the asset. Analysts are now wondering whether the Genesis Pre-Accelerator program could be a game-changer for Cardano network adoption.
