Cardano Leaps Ahead in Real-World Asset Growth
Cardano has established itself as one of the fastest-growing blockchains for real-world assets (RWAs), according to data from the RWA Foundation and Token Terminal. Over the past 30 days, Cardano ranked fifth in terms of RWA value growth, with a surge of 23.1% bringing its total to $55.3 million.
This growth outpaces several larger RWA ecosystems, including Avalanche, Sonic, Fraxtal, BNB Chain, and TON, which recorded increases ranging from 16.5% to 22.6%. Notably, four blockchain networks - Robinhood Chain, Tempo, Monad, and Plume Network - experienced even stronger growth, with monthly RWA value increases of up to 11,416.2%.
Cardano's expanding role in the tokenization sector is expected to continue growing, with founder Charles Hoskinson projecting that the RWA market could reach $10 trillion by 2030. The network has also partnered with various companies, including EMURGO and Kinka, to issue gold-backed tokens on Cardano.
