Cardano Leios Enters Next Phase of Testing Amid AlphaPepe's Unproven but Promising Presale
Cardano's ambitious Leios scaling upgrade has entered its next phase of testing on the testnet, aiming to lift throughput from a dozen to hundreds of transactions per second. The upgrade is expected to reach mainnet by late 2026 after rigorous validation through live testing, adversarial and load testing, audits, and governance approval.
Meanwhile, AlphaPepe's presale has raised over $2.23 million at its current price of $0.02501 in Stage 19. The token offers pre-chart upside, untested by the market, which can create large multiples. However, this absence of a market test also makes it an unknown quantity.
While Cardano's engineering is considered among the most disciplined in the industry, its upgrades have not always translated into rising token prices on any schedule a buyer can count on. AlphaPepe, on the other hand, has real substance with live demo users, two audits, and 400 million tokens locked.
