Cardano Network Activity Surges With 33% Daily Transaction Spike
Cardano's network activity has seen significant growth in recent days, with daily transactions rising by 33% to 32,841. This surge marks a new high for the platform, which has been steadily increasing its transaction throughput.
The data comes from blockchain fundamentals platform Chainspect, which shows that Cardano processed over 24,000 transactions on Wednesday alone. The network's cumulative transaction count now stands at approximately 123.02 million since its launch in September 2017.
In addition to the increase in daily transactions, Cardano also continues to demonstrate strong developer activity. Chainspect records 303,143 commits for the network, placing it among the leading blockchain ecosystems by development activity. While Polkadot remains ahead with over 701,000 commits, Cardano ranks ahead of several major ecosystems, including Arbitrum and Optimism.
