Cardano Plunges 10.33% as Cryptocurrency Market Swoons
Cardano's price plummeted by 10.33% on Sunday, marking its largest one-day percentage loss since June 5. At $0.2190, it is down from its all-time high of $3.10 set in September 2021. This significant drop pushed Cardano's market cap to $8.0808 billion, accounting for just 0.31% of the total cryptocurrency market cap.
Despite this decline, Cardano has seen a notable increase over the past seven days, with its value rising by 24.37%. The volume of Cardano traded in the past 24 hours reached $1.2138 billion, representing 0.94% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies.
Other major cryptocurrencies also experienced losses on Sunday, with Bitcoin down 1.89% to $76,924.4 and Ethereum falling by 4.15% to $2,410.71.
