Cardano's (ADA) price has dropped to $0.175 after a 1.03% decline in response to the network's announcement of its two-phase Dijkstra hard fork development schedule.

The roadmap outlines significant protocol enhancements planned for late 2026 and the second quarter of 2027.

Phase one, scheduled for Q4 2026, will implement Ouroboros Linear Leios, introduce Nested Transactions, and incorporate Script Context capabilities in PlutusV4.

The subsequent phase, projected for Q2 2027, will activate Ouroboros Peras, which aims to enhance transaction confirmation speeds and reduce settlement times across the blockchain.
