Cardano Price Halted by Controversy and Consolidation
Cardano (ADA) has been at the center of a recent controversy after Ark Invest's Director of Research, Lorenzo Valente, publicly questioned whether the industry should still be treating Cardano as newsworthy. This criticism drew a strong response from Charles Hoskinson, the founder of IOHK, who accused Valente of personal bias.
The debate comes at a time when ADA is experiencing a period of consolidation, trading within a triangle formation between $0.1618 and $0.1669. The 20-day EMA sits above this range, providing resistance to any potential upside movement.
The options market is also showing signs of uncertainty, with open interest falling by 12.28% and volume dropping by 35.50%. This suggests that traders are not hedging or taking a directional view on ADA at the current price level.
