Cardano Price Holds Steady as DEX Trading Activity Fades

Cardano's price has managed to hold above $0.21, despite a significant decline in decentralized exchange trading activity. The $ADA token traded at $0.2158 at the time of writing, up 1.61% during the session.

However, this is a far cry from its recent peak near $0.258, and the price remains below its earlier high.

The daily trading volume on Cardano-based decentralized exchanges reached about $56 million on August 22, but has since fallen back to roughly $1 million, representing a decline of around 98%.

While this may indicate that some traders have reduced their holdings after the price move, it's not clear whether buyers will return and continue to drive the price up. The first test for Cardano lies between $0.208 and $0.20, with a fall below this area potentially weakening its position.
