Cardano Price Sees Surge Following Van Rossem Hard Fork
Cardano's price has seen some improvement in recent days, up 2.72% to $0.166 after being stuck between $0.160 and $0.170 for most of July.
The latest boost is largely attributed to the Van Rossem hard fork, which made significant upgrades to Cardano's network, including cheaper Plutus smart contract execution costs and faster crypto operations.
Charles Hoskinson's recent comments on Ethereum's proposed UTXO model also contributed to the increased attention on ADA. However, ARK Invest's criticism of Cardano's relevance was met with pushback from Hoskinson, who remains optimistic about the network's prospects.
