Cardano Price Stagnant Amid Industry Relevance Debate
Cardano's (ADA) price has been stagnant at $0.1659 on July 27, compressing within a triangle formed between the descending trendline from May's peak and the ascending trendline.
This comes amidst a public spat between Ark Invest's research director Lorenzo Valente and Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson over the relevance of ADA in the industry.
Valente questioned whether the industry should still be spotlighting Cardano, prompting a rebuttal from Hoskinson. Open interest in ADA has fallen 12.28% to $399.11M, while volume dropped 35.50%, reflecting a muted market ahead of the FOMC decision on July 29.
The daily chart shows ADA compressing at the triangle apex, with the 0.236 Fibonacci level serving as the last floor before the June low at $0.1386.
