Cardano Price Teeters Between Breakout and Breakdown
The Cardano price is currently at a crucial juncture, caught between a potential breakout and breakdown. On both the 4-hour and daily charts, ADA is sitting near the same price point.
On the 4-hour chart, $ADA has been sliding down inside a descending channel for some time, with the current price pushing against the top of that channel. This is usually where traders start paying close attention: either the price gets rejected and falls back down or it breaks out.
If ADA closes above the channel with decent volume, the first level to watch is $0.1747, and if buyers continue, $0.1861 comes next. However, if the channel holds and sellers take control, support is at $0.1532, and a deeper drop could send the price down to $0.1439.
The daily chart adds another layer of complexity, with ADA coiling inside a symmetrical triangle for weeks. The current daily candle is sitting almost exactly at the tip of that triangle.
A daily breakout above the triangle would likely test $0.1926 first, while a breakdown points toward $0.1435 and possibly $0.1266 if that support gives way too.
