Crypto markets closed out Tuesday's trading session with mixed results, but it was Cardano that stole the spotlight with a notable gain of 6.78% to $0.20.

The rest of the top coins didn't fare as well, with Bitcoin edging lower by 0.32% to $64,392.55 and Ethereum down 0.11% at $1,904.82.

Mid-cap tokens like XRP declined by 2.46% to $1.03 and Solana fell 1.54% to $72.82, while Dogecoin dropped 1.36% to $0.07 and Avalanche plunged a sharp 3.04% to $6.45.

The evening's trading session reflected cautious sentiment across the crypto space, with liquidity remaining thin and sellers in control outside of Cardano's isolated pocket of strength.
