Cardano Rally on Track with $0.2305 Breakout Target
Cardano (ADA) has seen a significant surge in price over the past week, rising by 20% as whale buying activity and increasing futures volume revived interest in the cryptocurrency. According to data, whales bought over 240 million ADA tokens, while weekly futures volume climbed 380% to $650 million.
The current rally broke from broader market weakness, with ADA trading near $0.193 on August 5 after rebounding from its lowest price since 2020 in June. Analysts are now focusing on the level of $0.2305 as a potential break point that could end the long downtrend and strengthen the bullish case.
Analyst JAVON MARKS compared the current structure to ADA's 2020-2021 pattern, setting a target of $2.90, although this comparison does not guarantee a repeat. Other analysts are focusing on nearer technical levels, with CW identifying $0.2305 as the resistance that could end the prolonged downtrend.
